Many new contacts at Europe’s largest die casting fair
Press release
For the first time in many years Finnveden Metal Structures is exhibiting at the Euroguss trade fair for die casting in Nuremburg, but if this year’s stand personnel have their way it won’t be the last.
“This is definitely the right fair for us, a true industry fair that we should absolutely be at,” says Bart van Lokhorst, Sales manager for Europe for Europe and one of FMS’s representatives at the fair.
Participating in Euroguss, Europe’s largest trade fair for die casting, is part of Finnveden Metal Structures’ process of putting its strategic plan into action.
“We are going to strengthen our existing market position and broaden our customer base, not only in automotive but also general industry. This is an excellent opportunity to show ourselves and forge new contacts on the European cast goods market,” says Johan Nordgren, VP Marketing & Sales at Finnveden Metal Structures.
WELL-ATTENDED STAND
Misgivings that the Euroguss fair would not attract many visitors due to the prevailing economic situation proved unfounded. In addition to Finnveden Metal Structures, there were another 363 exhibitors and the fair had exactly 7,141 trade visitors in all between 19 and 21 January – three intensive days which Linda Malmberg, Marketing Assistant and the person in charge of the stand, summarises as follows:
“Our stand attracted a lot of visitors, at times it was completely full. It benefited from a strategic location with a lot of passers-by, but we also worked hard on the design to create an open, inviting stand that reinforced our message.”
“We cemented a great many contacts, old and new,” adds Jörgen Henriksson, Production Engineering Manager in Hultsfred. “Some have already led to new inquiries.”
