Bulten Ltd moves to new logistics center

Bulten has decided to invest in a new logistics centre in the UK in order to serve the customers’ needs in Europe. The new centre with a total area of 10,000 sq. m. will replace the existing facility and strengthen the division’s overall logistics capacity.

Given an increase in business Bulten Ltd has decided to move its central warehouse and office functions to a new site situated in Scunthorpe approximately 1 mile (1.5 km) from the current location. 

“The new logistics centre will be modern and better suited to the needs of our business. It also has the possibility to expand, which is important and in line with Bulten’s potential to grow its business in the years to come,” says Neal Thomas, Managing Director Bulten Ltd. 

The logistics centre will facilitate a more efficient distribution of products to customers in the UK and rest of Europe.

“The move to the new building will commence early January 2014 and will be completed by the end of Q1 2014. Then we will have implemented a modern flow around the new warehouse with expected efficiency savings of approximately 10%,” says Neal.
