Prototypes in record time

In an ever-accelerating world, it is increasingly important to be able to develop products and solutions that can keep up with progress. Cold forging has historically been a relatively slow industry, governed by long lead times for materials and tools. Bulten is working to change that.

As processes become more digitalized and alternative production methods emerge, Bulten has identified opportunities for tackling design in brand new ways. At our innovation center in Poland, we installed a number of 3D printers in 2021, as part of the digital transition. This is the first step in becoming the fastest supplier of fasteners on the market. At the center, Bulten is now developing various concepts for developing prototypes and manufacturing tools. In addition, simulation is being developed as a discipline so that increasingly complex products can be manufactured – and all the while our processes are speeding up.
