Sustainability and innovation in focus at newly started center
In March this year, Bulten Innovation Center, adjacent to the Bulten facility in Bielsko-Biala in southern Poland was opened. Today, there are three engineers working here to design prototypes and special solutions mainly focusing on lowering carbon dioxide emissions and to optimizing the assembly process for customers.

Bulten has achieved gold-medal status for sustainability in the EcoVadis sustainability ranking. Bulten is also ranked in the top one per cent of companies in its industry.
How to use a bolt's full potential
The bolt is usually not used to its full potential. For example, the majority of bolt joints are tightened only to 55 percent of the maximum available clamping force, since statistically it has been calculated that this is where you run the least risk of loosening or fractures.
